For those not agriculturally literate, Creepfeeding uses small feeders on skids with low rails which calves but not cows can "creep" under to receive grain such as rolled oats or other supplemental nutrition in the late summer & fall when their digestive systems are mature enough (largely sufficient bacteria in rumen) to digest grasses & grains as well as milk.

It's only another 25-30 miles to the city of Great Falls! Bruce had a close encounter last month to a lone Grizzly but 4? WOW! It pays to be paying attention when you're out there!
